Tricklesaver PC is awesome.
Basically when my computer goes off (on a timer during the day) so does the hard drive that holds my media. The power for the speakers and TV as well (and our blackberry chargers too). when the computer powers on, then my tv and speakers and hard drive get juice too.
The amount of phantom power now being turned off makes me feel good, makes my house slightly cooler, probably saves me a few bucks a year in electricity, and for like 20-30 bucks is a great investment.
Does it really make a difference, probably not, but at least i feel good
